Past Activities      

M.U.M.S. - The Multi-Utility Moving Service. A worker owned business experiment that worked. [ see M.U.M.S. Articles of Incorporation , M.U.M.S Agreement , M.U.M.S Office Systems , M.U.M.S Peer Evaluation]

Software Development - two original applications. An application in Pascal to allow moving companies to do job estimates quickly on the phone and a speed reading application in visual basic.

Teaching Business Computer to Native Canadians - introductory courses in business computing to natives and non-natives in Vancouver, Terrace and the Okanagan Colleges in Penticton and Summerland. Wrote articles for The Computer paper, and Okanagan business magazine.

Building the Underground House - conceived and assisted the design and construction of my parents energy efficient underground house in Peachland. Featured in several newspapers and magazines.

Musician - on the road and teaching guitar for 6 years.

Managed Kelowna Youth Hostel- for a season.
